I'd place emphasis on polarity/nondualism as compared to qualified
or completely dualistic metaphysics. the former is integral to
tantra, and this is at least in part why many have examined the 
connection between Taoist sexual alchemical symbolism and practices 
and the tantra of India (the Chinese Yin and Yang clearly symbolizes
polarity as compared to opposition). 

metaphysics headed toward dualism tend not to allow breaches of 
convention ('Left Handed' practice) and aim for extremes which, 
while exceptional, do not have interpenetrative symbolism that 
is typically an element of tantric practice.
