#WHAT IS A TANTRIC MONK?  

:> I am!  :>  short answer. 

long answer -> 
a tantric is one who appreciates and participates in the polarity of 
natural process, worships within and/or perfects the intimatic 
sciences (sometimes mistaken for sex-obsession), and the discovery 
of esoteric or metaphysical truths in ordinary life.

a monk is someone who identifies their intuition, attaches their will 
to its directive influence, and follows this out unto its end (should 
it have one). (cf Marsha Sinetar's _Monks and Mystics as Ordinary People_).  


#WHERE DO THEY LIVE 

here, as often as possible.  sometimes this means abandonment of society
and 'modern civilization' for a wild adventure.  sometimes it means
evoking demons in an urban jungle.  sometimes it means working with the
poor and sickly or engaging politics.  as Jesus said, 'foxes have holes
and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lie down and
rest'. (Matt 8:20)
 

#AND WHAT DO THEY DO?

we do whatever feels right.  this usually includes self-transformative
and socially-transformative actions, but could include much more laziness
such as inspired by taoist hermits, zen sitters and christian monastics.
