Opinions?/sources? 'right' and 'wrong' would depend on the context. from the perspective of the Zen Buddhist monk, I presume that almost any sex would be problematic, given the heavy emphasis placed upon avoidance of women in Zen literature. then again, if the source believes that sexual energy assists zazen and the will applied to insight, then expending sexual energy might make it more difficult to wake up. probably only a very few would be able to use sex as a MEANS of meditation as did Boboroshi. > This was a serious guestion. yes, but most Zen Buddhists don't seem to accept sexuality as a legitimate aspect of practice. this describes the distance which they have come from the Middle Path, which excludes nothing in particular but everthing in general. I don't know if the 'zen' of which I am speaking (buji, apparently), such as is instructed in the Dozen School of the Avidyana, would be looked on as anything more than ridiculousness or charlatanry. perhaps it is. > Everyone seems to have an opinion on everything posted here > normally perhaps the title of the post sounds like a spam but > it isn't perhaps a repost is in order? probably part of the problem is the forum (alt.zen).
