[a bit of admin permissions omitted here -- tn] #Should I read the Satanic Bible first and foremost and go from there? the _Satanic Bible_ is a decent introductory text, though it is filled with the LaVeyan diatribe and slant. it isn't necessary to understand what is contained within that book, but it could be very helpful in learning to communicate with many people who enjoy popular Satanism of the LaVeyan style. Satanism is too individualistic to describe in terms of theology or doctrine. various groups will promote their favorite ideas, but if you look closely enough you'll see that it is mostly a smokescreen for variety and controversy. different Satanists maintain different relationships with the gods and with Satan. some great number do not believe in gods or the entity Satan at all! #I don't get who you "worship" if by 'you', you mean me, then I worship Kali. I have dedicated myself to Her devotion. if by 'you', you mean Satanists generally, then this appears to vary considerably, many Satanists eshewing worship entirely, especially of Satan. #.. and if both, who'se more of your spiritual leader. the whole thing about Satanism is that leaders tend to be idiots and unreliable.
