[anonymous questor:] #> What publications written to favorably reflect your #> beliefs/activities/etc. do you distribute? the Church of Euthanasia currently distributes 'Snuff It' to a requesting public and makes these available to all for free via the internet at http://www.paranoia.com/coe . as its Satanism Outreach Director (SOD) I also network for Satanists generally and have composed several information files distributed online (some quite corrosive! ;>). soon I'll also begin networking a DIRectory of Telluric resources (DIRT) containing local (South SFBay) Satanic spots of interest (things like adult book and video stores, sensual massage parlors, abortion- and death-assistance organizations, vegetarian and ecological orgs, and strictly Satanic pursuits like the local CoS grotto and Church of Euthanasia contacts). the head of the church makes public appearances on behalf of the org (which I may begin myself eventually) and does quite alot of outreach on hir own on the East Coast, some written. #> How important is *any* PR to LHP organizations/churches or individuals? my concern isn't how 'unpopular' these paths are. as I see it, this is part of their mystique, and their existence and increasing membership is in some measure due to the anti-propaganda strewn forth by the Church (what Bill Heidrick has rightfully called 'blood libel'). that their actual form typically doesn't conform to the nightmares of the blood libel is part of how the Great Martyrdom Cult operates, dissipating and co-opting the condemnation scheme and fabricating a new religious pathway in the guise of perpetuating a persecuted tradition or community. this 'Bad Aura' is to some extent what draws people to the LHP-type groups. 'discovering the truth about what has been slandered' has become a socialized, repeated tradition, incorporating fragments of religions which deteriorated or were intentionally destroyed by the current religious establishment or its formerly powerful ancestors.
