The Occult, Satanism and various
'vanquished' political ideological systems are what tend to allow the
individual to break open their social programming (not as a lifestyle,
but as a temporary obsession which counters everything that's been poured
into us).  Sexual libertinism, political fascism, psychological identifi-
cation as fantasy beings, exploration of hidden or 'forbidden' subjects,
intense focus on repressed emotional states, abandonment of the typical
social aspiration for 'personal progress', etc., etc. -- these are all
techniques, pathways for opening us up, breaking our training so as to
liberate us from the somnambulism, from slipping into default unconscious-
ness.
