Or of course, the practice of Geomancy might have survived in a similar form
from the time of Jesus to when Regardie heard about it. I say "similar"
guardedly, because although modern scholarship recognises that Divination
using the 16 Geomantic figures as found in "The Golden Dawn", "Three Books
of Occult Philosophy" etc dates back to great antiquity and to the Middle
East, details like the meanings of the individual figures has changed over
the course of time.
