To dismiss Court de Gebelin is to dismiss much of what the GD, Waite, and Crowley wrote about Tarot. They took many original ideas from the essays of Court de Gebelin and M. le Comte de Mellet - without attribution, of course. You would not know this until you read the essays in full. Asiya
