  And what are a few
ways i
>can make a talisman to do different things like protect, heal,
give good

there are numerous ways to make a talisman, and often there is
disagreement as to what the difference between a talisman and an
amulet. the way i've come to understand it, is that a talisman
is incribed with words or symbols representing the goal. an
amulet is a natural or man-made object representing the goal,
such as a st. lazarus crutch or a holed stone.

if you have jewelry-making or metalworking skills, then the you
are only restricted by your imagination, and possibly traditional
correspondences. i used discs of wood and a wood-burner when
making my talismans, but one of the most popular ways is to
inscribe them with colored inks on parchment paper. popular
talismans are copied from the _key of solomon_, the _goetia_, and
_the black pullet_ - these you can usually buy cast in pewter
from occult suppliers such as azure green, or miller's in
atlanta.

a popular way to make individualized talismans is to use sigils,
either constructed by using planetary squares, or by the spare
method. check out the llewellyn book _practical sigil magick_ by
frater u:.d:. - i think it's still in print.

for amulets, you can use found objects or store-bought jewelry,
or make something yourself to represent the goal (for example,
the wax foot i made when my mom had a staph infection and was in
danger of losing her _real_ foot.) and concecrate that. natural
objects - stones, feathers, seashells, etc. often have their own
energy, but it's still a good idea to consecrate them, and get
that energy focused on your goal.

never thirst,
