In some of the morte commonly available grimoirs the Dukes And Earls of
the infernal heirachy are described as commanding many spirits under
them. In the Goetia, each entity named commands on average about thirty
legions. Abra-Melindeals explicitly with three hundred and twenty eight;
I wouldn't even take a guess at the number of spirits that might be
derived from the enochian tablets. I would be surprised if there wasn't
at least one demon for every person on the planet (Though I can't
justify it, it just seems poetic.)
