If you are handsome, set your unconscious in an "I am not handsome" mood. Make
sure you avoid flirting. Don't comb your hair, get some ugly clothes, walk
with a slight bend. (Most of the trick lies in convincing your subconscious
not to give you away with habitual things.)

Say, if you always walk with your back straight and look people in the eye
steadily and stand close when you talk, try to do everything reversely. The
"magick" comes in when you need to program yourself to follow this at all
times. (I think Crowleys practices for being vigilant about what you do at all
times from Magick in Theory and Practice are rather valuable here. (Ie, cut
your forearm with a razor when you slip. (Or pinch yourself if you are less
heroic.))

Make changes in consciousness to. Make yourself shy if you are usually
outgoing. (Or even better, the other way around if you are shy.)
