'taro' and 'rota' (wheel) are often related deeply, sometimes in associated with the Wheel of the Cosmos/Galaxy and at others with the Wheel of Fortune/Rebirth. it can be found in any number of occult texts, though few seem to have much information on the historical origins or usage. one source I have to hand indicates: _SATOR FORMULA_ The most famous of all magic squares. It has been found inscribed on ancient walls, drinking vessels, etc. It is recommended for finding witches, extinguishing fires, fulfilling wishes, and many other purposes.
