First, blood will not mix with oil ("pretty smelling" or otherwise") but it dilutes quite nicely in distilled water. I suggest that instead of hunting up some possibly medically-restricted anti-coagulant, you try thinning the blood a bit with distilled water and then FREEZING the diluted blood until it is needed for use. I have never tried this, but i have seen enough of the blood that thaws out of packages of defrosting meats to get the notion that it just might work for you. catherine yronwode Lucky Mojo Curio Co. http://www.luckymojo.com/luckymojocatalogue.html Spells Archive ----------------- http://www.luckymojo.com/spells.html Lucky W Amulet Archive --------- http://www.luckymojo.com/luckyw.html Karezza and Sacred Sex ------ http://www.luckymojo.com/sacredsex.html The Mage's Guide to the Internet ------ http://www.luckymojo.com/magi news:alt.lucky.w --- discussions on folk magic, luck, amulets, charms
