In 777, the path of Gimel (col II) corresponds to dark greenish brown on the Empress Scale (col. XVIII), the Tarot trump whose true title is "The Priestess of the Silver Star" (col. CLXXX), the stomach (col. CLXXXII), and menstrual disorders (col. CLXXXVI). But none of this means anything, because the key to the correspondences is not in 777. One knows that there is a relationship between the stomach Gimel and dark greenish brown and the Priestess and cramps, but the key is *what sort of relationship*. The columns don't mean simple equivalence; they indicate that there is some point of attraction between the concepts. And if there is a point of attraction, there must also be a point of repulsion. The threads of the Qabalah aren't fused together in neat rows - they're twisted, they fly together and apart in unfathomable periods, they swirl and dance in an ineffable helix. A table of correspondences is only the pieces of the watch. It's not the watch, and it doesn't tick. So congratulations - you've come up with a simplified set of pieces. You still don't know what time it is. osirified_skorpion@yahoo.com (Scorpion-of-Osiris) wrote in message news:<3876d067.0205051037.39116534@posting.google.com>... > After studying & practicing magick for too many years, I have created > a simple system I use personally.
