Can anyone clear this up for me? The Egyptian God in question is Horus (the Hawk Headed one). Familiarise yourself completely with Horus' imagery and significance in Egyptian mythology. Then, to "assume" Him, imagine that you are inside his body, as if it were a full body suit. In other words, you clothe yourself with his Astral form. Identify with Horus, so that at that moment, it is not you that is making the Sign of the Enterer but Horus Himself. Make the Sign with a vigorous thrusting motion, imagining that you (Horus) are firing a massive bolt of power from your hands and scoring a bullseye on a target on the other side of the Universe. You will know when you are successfully assuming a godform, as you will feel a frisson of magical power when doing so. If you are capable of astral projection or lucid dreaming, you will find that if you assume a godform whilst on the astral plane, it is not so much a frisson as a great surge, which can be very surprising indeed if you are not used to it..
