                   The Lesser Ritual of the Hexagram
     ____________________________________________________________
   
   Stand upright, feet together, left arm at side, right across
   body, holding wand or other weapon upright in the median line.
   Then face East and say:
   
     I. N. R. I.
     yod. nun. resh. yod.
     Virgo, Isis, Mighty Mother.
     Scorpio, Apophis, Destroyer.
     Sol, Osiris, Slain and Risen.
     Isis, Apophis, Osiris, I A O.
     
   Stand in the sign of Osiris Slain and say:
   
     The sign of Osiris Slain.
     
   Stand in the sign of the Mourning of Isis and say:
   
     The sign of the Mourning of Isis.
     
   Stand in the sign of Apophis and Typhon and say:
   
     The sign of Apophis and Typhon.
     
   Stand in the sign of Osiris Risen and say:
   
     The sign of Osiris Risen.
     
   Stand in the sign of Osiris Slain and then in the sign of Osiris
   Risen and say:
   
     L. V. X., lux, (as in Luke's), the Light of the Cross.
     
   With the magical weapon, trace the Hexagram of Fire in the East,
   saying:
   
     ARARITA *
     
   Trace the Hexagram of Earth in the South, saying:
   
     ARARITA *
     
   Trace the Hexagram of Air in the West, saying:
   
     ARARITA *
     
   Trace the Hexagram of Water in the North, saying:
   
     ARARITA *
     
   Repeat beginning, ending with the Light of the Cross.

   Osiris Slain:
          Arms straight out at the sides to form a cross
          Heels together, with feet at 45 degree angle
          
   The Mourning of Isis (L):
          Right arm forms points up with elbow square
          Left arm points down with elbow square
          Head looks down over the left shoulder with eyes following
          left forearm
          Feet point left
          Right foot is perched on it's ball with knee bent
          
   Apophis and Typhon (V):
          Raise arms above the head at an angle of 60 degrees to
          eachother
          Throw head back
          Heels together, with feet at 45 degree angle standing
          slightly on the balls
          
   Osiris Risen (X):
          Arms cross, left over right, on the chest
          Head is bowed
          Heels together, with feet at 45 degree angle
          
  Meaning of ARARITA
  
   The letters in ARARITA form the initials of a sentence meaning
   
     "One is His Beginning: One is His Individuality: His
     Permutation is One."
