93,

Heavy smoky incenses are great for the Goetics to hang onto. I prefer to
use what is similar to the Goetic's nature. Like Astartoth is obviously a
bastardization of Astarte, I used a smoky Venus incense. As for Dittany
of Crete I have a recipe for it somewhere but can't find it. If I do, I'll
post it. As I recall it wasn't hard to make.

As for my purposes for doing Goetia, I wanted experience a new system of
magick and understand how it worked. I believe that the way we deal with
Goetics, Enochian entities, elementals, etc. is the way the HGA deals
us. This is a useful tool for understanding why your Angel may doing some
of the things it does.

As for "dirty work" to me that means mundane, hey if I can strike a deal
with someone to give me what I want/will for a fair price; you bet. Goetic
deamons are not cheap but like everything else in the Universe there is a
price. Whether you are talking appreciation, acknowledgement, a sparklee,
energy, talisman, incense, etc., there is a price. Most of the time the
only thing that I was interested in was knowledge. The big questions. Who
are you? Where do you come from? What is your will? Where are you
going? (almost sounds like a Gauguin painting or an episode of B5 - LOL)
