He discontinued his involvement with the group in 1990, around the time he had to move his family to America, after being demonized by the British media and police. There is a very interesting article about P-Orridge in the compilation "Control X" written by TOPY member Simon Dwayer. This is from that article: "TOPY has never offered easy answers--it still doesn't. It is neither a cult, nor a religion. [...] TOPY simply strives to be a way of seeing just a little bit more than you first thought was there, of seeing through the image that is projected and dealing directly with the realities behind these myths, behind these masks.[...] Whatever your opinions, TOPY is a journey of discovery. Nothing less; and perhaps a great deal more" P-Orridge has authored several books, among them "Thee Psychick Bible" (with J.A. Rapoza and Monty Casaza) and "Magick Works" (with the late R.A.Wilson) For info on TOPY write (enclosing SAE) to TOPY Station 23 PO BOX 687 Halfway, Sheffield S19 5UX England
