Yes.

It doesn't make any sense to forget sigils, whether
creating a servitor or not.  When just casting a
sigil the important part is forgetting the INTENT.
Paste the sigil everywhere so you'll see it and 
charge it whenever you get the urge.

But servitors - they require obsession.  Forgetting
anything there is detrimentive to its creation and
purpose.
