I wouldn't have expected any others in my vicinity to have heard it, but understand that it was either an unknown portion of my own mind, the production of some other source, or a being of curious dimensions. I've rarely had problems with invoked beings, though my predominant invocation has been to Kali Ma, Queen of Demons channellings -- it is my understanding that channelling may or may not include personal unconsciousness. it is at least true of some whose possessions completely occlude their recall. however, some channelled guides apparently allow communion for the channeller with the being who communicates with hir. > Do you hear a _real_ voice in your head or that the > Angel/entity in question use your organ of speech?:) I've experienced both, though their possession of me was such that using my organ of speech was only a means of demonstrating the reality of the entity in question. I was always conscious during the episodes. I've had long conversations with spirits, gods and dragons. I've witnessed trance-possession in which the person being possessed claimed not to remember the event. both types of possession clearly seem to exist.
