I've also called off rituals because signs were not *right* for them, even many times in succession, waiting for the proper configuration of symbols, numbers, etc. > Whether it be a state of mind, or just something at the back of your > mind that stopped you from following through with a particular ritual > or act? conditioning toward extreme materialistic belief-bias when starting rites and spells. deconditioned with celebratory, regular rituals and involvement in rudimentary instruction from ritualists. particular rites or spells? whenever I've seen 3 signs that a rite or spell should be avoided, I've called it off. one exception I can think of to this involved my lover at the time. she insisted we go on with the ritual despite my having logged three separate obvious signs indicating we ought stop. she had a psychotic break, began acting so erratically and threateningly that we had to ask her to leave, and our relationship took a dive for the worst. before that and since I've taken these kinds of signs seriously, often also paying close attention to those noticed by my kindred. blessed beast! nagasiva
