He's done it to people before, you know. > No, really. one might catalogue the boasts of this particular grubby sorcerer (to use his own terminology). over the years in alt.magick.* forums he has claimed to do specialized and ambiguous spells and magic like "Fingertrap Magick" and other amusing and juvenile insinuations without elaboration. creative in imaginative fabrication, he is better characterized an AUTHOR, rather than a working magician (published in the area of his expertise, apparently -- that being Chinese history/language, self-published in his own Kaos journal). his explanation of his spellwork appears to rather persistently pertain to antagonistic activities of varying levels of coercion (the old White Lodge- vs.-Black Lodge variety), paired with complaints about the same on the part of others who serve as a backdrop for his self-aggrandizing. in short, mostly dismissable as a source on the subject of magic, somewhat interesting as a source on things Chinese (I have yet obtain a copy of his book on this latter subject and haven't seen a reliable review). your recent posts are an interesting insight into the UK magical community. thanks. nagasiva
