in reviewing Liber 231 on the shells of the sefirotic paths 
(and in particular shell # (/tunnel #) 23, interesting enough), 
I notice depite the fact that what Kenneth Grant has to say 
about it in his "Nightside of Eden" is interesting, he mentions 
little to do with the number 10 (usually a circle named 'Malkuth'). 

instead, he follows Crowley's 231 in associating it with the 13th 
Letter (M, The Hanged Man). this is reasonable, however many
other resonances he draw in to explain the shell/tunnel (e.g.
307/VRIATz, second decanate of Scorpio, LZRO, ShVA, skrying,
the Deep Ones, Leviathan/LBBVth/440, ThM, and more), but he does
NOT indicate why it is that there is such an obvious literal
similarity between MALKUNOFAT and MALKUTH.

anyone have any ideas? just a coincidence?
