Saul was a christ; so was David.

Example, 2 Sam 19:22: QLL ATh- MShICh IHVH.

The Greek "christos" is the direct translation of the Hebrew "messiah" in
the Septuagint. Saul = messiah = christ. Same for David.

Certainly Renee means "_The_ Christ," who appears in English translations
of the New Testament; in the OT, the exact same word apparently means
something quite different to the translators.
