Innocence is questionable, since to achieve his ends Chick presents falsehoods as truths and rumor as reality, in order to pretend that he alone understands Masonry, and therefore he alone can present it's true evil nature. Goebbels liked this format too. When we see a trivial poseur of evil like Jack Chick trying to follow in the footsteps of his ethical forebears, I agree that it is better when we can laugh, however pityingly. Paul
