Kalkin is depicted either as a man with a horse`s head or as a man
holding a sword and seated on a white horse.

There is a picture of the first version, a photo of a 10th C sculpture
in Bihar in New Larousse Encyclopaedia of Mythology 1974 p337 and a
drawing of the second version in fact on File Encyclopaedia of World
Mythology and Legend 1988 p. 378. This is a drawing suggestive of the
Mughul style.

Apparently Kalkin will be the last and tenth incarnation at the end of
the Kali Yuga and will mop up us sinners so they start off again with
the pure bunch. How tedious.

Om Namah Shivaya
