Greetings:

My experiences along these lines include a concert
many years ago by Steven Halpern where he demonstrated
how different tones affected the chakras, and a
voodoo ceremony where I most definitely felt the
effect of the drumming on the lower chakras. Here's
what I find in the 'music and the occult' section
of my library for chakras:

>From _Sounding the Inner Landscape: Music as Medicine_ by
Kay Gardner, Caduceus Publications, 1990, ISBN 0-9627200-3-8
	"The musical pitch related to the root chakra is C;
	its balancing pitch is the fifth above, G."
	Root chakra - pitch C, complement G
	Belly chakra - pitch D, complement A
	Solar Plexus chakra - pitch E, complement B
	Heart chakra - pitch F-sharp, complement C-sharp
	Throat chakra - pitch G, complement D
	Brow chakra - pitch A, complement E
	Crown chakra - pitch B-flat, complement F
She's getting some of the tones by putting a tone with a color.

>From _Music and the Elemental Psyche: A Practical Guide
to Music and Changing Consciousness_ by R.J. Stewart:
	Feet = Earth = C
	Genitals = Water = D
	Heart = Fire = E
	Throat = Air = F
	Forehead = Spirit = G

In _The Secret Power of Music_ by David Tame, I don't find
specific musical tones corresponding to the chakras, but
on page 277 there is a table with the following correspondences
to each of the chakras:
	Rhythm of the chakra
	Instruments which particularly influence the chakra
	Examples of music which correctly energize the chakra
	    by expressing the divine qualities of the ray
	Musical styles which particularly pervert the correct
	    functioning of the chakra
with a note that this table is taken from _The Science of
Rhythm for the Master of the Sacred Energies of Life: Uses
and Misuses of the Word in the Music of East and West_
by (yikes) Elizabeth Clare Prophet.

Regards, Charla
