Hello Dear Souls,
There is a Sufi Order of the West which was founded in the early 1900s by
Hazrat Inayat khan. The order is currently run if you will by Pir Vilayat
Inayat Khan his son. I joined the order many, many years ago seeking
first here and then there for the right path for my personal growth on the
spiritual path. To my mind the Sufi path as any other path is the path of
the soul and the heart and as long as one is working toward the perfection
of Allah or God or what have you in serving mankind there should be no
question about which path one follows for they are all one in the same, a
Sufi believes there is no difference, there is no argument. For a Sufi's
religion is one in the same with all. There is only one being. Only one
manifestation, omipotent, omipresent taking all forms and encompassing all
beings and the purpose of this is to lift us above the limitations and the
imperfections of humanity or humaness. It is to seek Allah's perfection
which we inevitably fall short of time and time again because of the
limitations that we or others or cicumstance place upon us.
May Allah Bless You and Keep You.
Noor-un-Nisa
