Anecdotal evidence is a poor witness. The earliest known materials are
fairly late in history. The tendency of individuals to claim "lineage"
for their methods makes any such unsupported claim suspect.

Also my sources (Halevi, Regardie and others) all write of the

There are mentions of Abraham in sources that predate extant hebrew
sources. Whether these references predate judaism or are simply borrowed
goods from the early history of judaism is a matter of debate that will
likely never be resolved.
