In Sveinbjorn Beinteinsson's words: "This religion or WAY OF LIFE [emphasis JB] is the response of the people of Northern latitudes and how they expose to nature. And the historical background of the religion goes much further back than we know. Especially this is the religion of the Germanic peoples, and specifically the Scandanavian people. This was their way in the olden time to interpret the world around them. They have seen the godhead in human form, colored by the environment in our country and in northern latitudes, specifically." At present, Al Billings is correct, Asatru has been overrun by people who define "racism" in his terms and who not only consider the unique characteristics of northern bloodlines to be unimportant to preserve -- but who consider those who would take conscious, peaceful, steps to preserve those bloodlines to be the moral spawn of Hitler. -- The promotion of politics exterminates apolitical genes in the population. The promotion of frontiers gives apolitical genes a route to survival. Change the tools and you change the rules.
