Yes I (and others from OMS) have been on the Internest (usually in 3 month stints). Even now, there is someone from OMS on Internest, and on every other CAW related e-group that we know about. Numbers are the one thing we haven't seen for awhile (as the last one of our members who had access to a Scarlet Flame stopped paying dues to CAW more than a year ago). So why do we care? You could find out from the website ( www.mithrilstar.org ) but you would rather wallow in your preconcieved prejudiced notions of who and what we are about, than seek the truth. We care because we, (whether you like it or not) are your water brothers. In fact, that document (uploaded to one of the groups we are monitoring by Oberon himself) describes the OMS almost to a "T". Of course, we believe in "catanative assemblege" and y'all don't. What a shame. A bigger shame is the debate going on about it in that particular group. About who holds the copyright to the name, "Church of All Worlds" and how they should get an injuction against Oberon and Lisa. (My opinion: I suspect Virginia Heinlein owns the copyright, though CAW may have "squatters rights" to the name after 40 years. Funny no one is talking about going after any of the other "CAW"s that are out there, just this effort of the Ravenhearts. Sad. > > Don't bother. Fact is not much of Usenet is used for what it was originally intended for anymore. But Dave here has been a faithful moderator of this ng, and I hope someone in CAW appreciates that. Anyroad, he's an easy mark for a question when we need a "real" answer. Is that "trolling" too? Again, we're here because we honestly and sincerely care about you and love you. And that is also why I have started CAW - OMS Peace, an email group where we can all sit down together, both groups, and find some way to make peace between us. OMS is growing at a much faster rate than CAW is. In 40 years you have 400 members. We've been around only since 1998, and we have 100 (and up to a year or so ago we weren't really trying -- we are now). Do the math. We will start running into each other at Starwood, and Ancient Ways and other places. I think it's time we started acting like water kin, and thre is no real reason not to.
