Frick in his three-volume study. I believe your third category is what he calls 'romantic satanism', where he includes 'luciferianism' as a romantic ideal as found with Byron and Shelley, amongst others. If you read German, you may want to check out Frick's work "Satan und die Satanisten: Ideengeschichtliche Untersuchungen zur herkunft der komplexen Gestalt "Luzifer/Satan/Teufel", ihrer weiblichen Entsprechungen und ihrer Anh=E4ngerscahft."
