Also, I just ran across an interesting essay in a 1995 New York Review of
Science Fiction by, I think, a Brit named Dan Stapleton (?). He discussed the
tradition of literary satanism and related it to death metal. Pretty cool.
Anyway, he cited Anatole France. I've heard this name but know nothing about
the guy. Anybody have info?
