I saw a film this evening called "The Pyx" (1973, Christopher Plummer, Karen Black). it was mediocre as films go, but it had clear references to a Black Mass, with inverted crosses littering the visuals. obvious anti-Catholic imagery and ideas, typical condemnatory Urban Legend of Satanism material, complete with a sacrificial ritual, involving black-robed worshippers surrounding the High Priest in his Catholic drag about to (somehow) 'desecrate the Host from the Pyx' after spreading the legs of the hooker he got for the event. murder, disorientation, weird 70's styles and graphics. not recommended. only for the hard-core enthusiast of Satanika. reviewed by nocTifer (tyagi@houseofkaos.abyss.com)
