[from http://www.geocities.com/satanism_au/library/leftpath.htm ] The Left-Hand Path by Kevin C. Phantom _________________________________________________________________ Being a Black Magician, I feel it nesasary to define the difference between a Right-Hand Path religion and a Left-Hand Path religion. I will begin by explaining the goals of the RHP. The RHP is concerned with submiting ones self, psyche,or soul to the will of the Universe or to nature or to a god or whatever. They belive that by submiting ones self to the will of a higher being or force that they will ultimatly achive a "NIRVANA" or "heaven" like state of being. Most practitioners of the RHP feel themselves to be inferior to the forces of nature, and most are correct in this assumption, so it is that they find that following the RHP is a lot less difficult than following the LHP. Today there are many religions that belive in complete submission to a higher being or god-like creature. Among these is Judaism(the very definition means submission) Christianity, Budhism, Wicca, Hindu etc... The fact is that most people are and will continue to travel along the RHP whether or not they conciously acknowledge it. The Left-Hand Path is based on individuating ones self against the Universe. We belive in the strengh of our own isolsolae Will to create change in the objective universe. We look at ourselves as seperate and independant entities apart from the objective universe. We see no need for sumission and shun terms such as equality. I find it degrading to say to two different individuals that they are exactly the same. The Left-Hand Path promotes a rational enjoyment of life and becoming all that one is capable of becoming and beyond. For limits were meant to be trancended. We belive in strength, pride and all of the things that the RHP considers to be "corrupt" or "evil". In short, the LHP is far more difficult to travel than that of the RHP. Both paths are being practiced conciously in the universe. You will have to decide which path your goals falls into. In this as in all things, the choice is yours. Kevin C.
