But the ONA clearly state that Aeonics is part of >their way (or tradition) so their kind of defiance, according to their >path, does make Satanic sense. Well, far be it from me to agree with Ms. Jantsang, but I can't help but agree with her on the above point. I think there is something wonderful about the ONA grade rituals, and the way in which they chose to personify "defiance." In one sense they remind me of G. Gordon Liddy in "Will." They're bona fide badasses; like the Chevaliers of old. Death before dishonor! Molon Labe! On the other hand, one can also read such "defiance" as making excuses for personal failings and a lack of self control. For example, it's a great thing to be able to say you smashed every face that you don't approve of like some kind of silverbacked gorilla. In my opinion, it is a far, far greater thing to have the psychological mastery to obtain all that you desire in the world. What is the point in petty psychological dominance games, when you can achieve real world power over people? Better yet; why should I engage in preposterous monkey dominance games with people when I can gain power and control my own destiny? I know I can outshoot, outfight, outhink and outfuck 99.99% of humanity; and I know I have more charachter and will than they do. I really don't need any further reassurances of this. I waste less of my time by simply laughing at the unworthy. We're only allotted a limited amount of time: we must choose the enemy wisely. It may be more important than chosing your friends. -Lupo "It keeps you fit - the alcohol, nasty women ... bad food - It's all very good for you."-Bon Scott
