The only viable Satanic newsgroup is alt.satanism. I recently heard a
rumor that aol refused to carry that newsgroup -- you might check
with them and see if it's true, and what you might do to get them to
support their paying customers in this area.

There's also a mailing list maintained by a member of the Temple of
Set on which Satanic topics are discussed. I'm sending you info on that
mailing list by e-mail (it may be some time before the regular posting
of that message comes around again).

Define "important Satanic Holiday." For those who enjoy dressing up
and walking around in costume, it's a fun day. It generally rates far
behind birthdays, Thanksgiving (food!), Christmas (presents!), the
summer solstice (beach parties!), the winter solstice (skiing!), Labor
Day (travel rates go down!), New Year's Day (champaigne!), St.
Patrick's Day (beer!), Independence Day (freedom!), and the third day
after Columbus Day (also celebrated by Chaoticists for no apparent
reason).

No, actually because it's so much fun, Halloween probably is a "major"
holiday for Satanists. When else can I wear my full-length black cape
on the streets and hardly get a second glance? But there's nothing
more sinister than that.
