This method was related by Grady McMurtry, who stated that Crowley so
instructed him in the 1940's e.v.

No secret there.  As far down as one can conveniently reach on the mid-line
-- politely the Muladhara instead of the asshole. :-)

Not un-Thelemic, just pre-Crowleyian.  Crowley's added bit about Aiwass or
HGA can be qualified as "the Thelemic version" in the sense that he added it.
