Not a lot out there about a Blake-Crowley connection. Crowley pays Blake
the compliment of quotation without attribution a time or two, in Little
Essays Towards Truth - though I may be doing Aleister an injustice, and
he may not think to attribute the remark anymore than someone saying "to
be or not to be" thinks it necessary to add, "That's by Shakespeare, you
know."

Crowley pays Blake a hefty compliment during WB's cameo in the vision in
Moonchild, when Iliel beholds the great human souls who might incarnate
in her child, were she not dedicated to the Lunar sphere. Blake is the
last, and greatest, of them all.

And in Genesis Libri Al, from Equinox of the Gods, Crowley pays Blake a
(for Crowley) supreme compliment. In noting that Liber AL is not
language he, Crowley, could have written, he goes on to say that of all
known poets, only Blake could have written the whole piece as far as
lyrical style goes. Poe and the translator of Ecclesiastes are the
runners up in that comparison.

Other than that, it is not surprising, perhaps, that the William Blake
Oasis of the OTO thinks well of Blake, and that to my mind (and I am
responsible for the Oasis' name, doubtless an indictable crime to the
Blake purist, and possibly the Thelemic purist as well) the work of
Blake says much that Lthe Holy Books do, usually in better poetry (g).
The work of the two men shows different aspects of the Law of Liberty,
and its manifestation to humanity, and we'd be poorer for the loss of
either.

Love,
Paul
