Firstly I'd like to apologize to those ngs for which this is at best
only vaguely close to on-topic- I've set followups to email only to
avoid further x-posting, but I couldn't let such a dubious collection of
propaganda go unanswered... I'll try to keep my retort short tho'.

In article <885206798.2001141766@dejanews.com>, "Kevin Bold/Fra:.
Baraka" <zentao93@juno.com> writes
>In light of Liber AL's words and the
>O.T.O.'s accomplishments, what further proof than our success could
>anyone possibly need that we -- the so-called "Caliphate" O.T.O. -- truly
>are the real O.T.O.?

The COTO's accomplishments are dubious at best particularly if as I have
you've been on the wrong end of an Inquisition from 'em.

And as should be clear from your own article- there is *no* clear
succession in the OTO after Germer. I know of at least 6 different
organizations with an OTO heritage- based in the UK there is the OTO
Foundation and the Typhonian OTO, there is the Caliphate OTO in the US,
a pre-Crowleyan OTO in Switzerland, the SOTO in South America, and an
offshoot of SOTO (whose name I don't recall) in Italy.

Posts such as the above-quoted article only make the divisions between
these groups more exaggerated & the Work of this Aeon still slower &
more difficult. Wouldn't it be more sensible to work towards reconciling
& recombining the various strands of the OTO rather than attempting to
favour one faction over the others?

among us! - Rogues a-plotting - Great talk of separation - so I looked sharp
for a prize - Such a day took one, with a great deal of liquor on board, so
kept the company hot, damned hot; then all things went well again." (Teach)
