There is an element of truth in your idea that reunification might
entail favouring one OTO claimant over the others (accepting that not
all Thelemic Orders are OTO type bodies). That the 'Caliphate' OTO has
obtained a pre-eminent position makes it a strong contender, and it
certainly has its virtues. However one need not be an 'enemy' of the OTO
to criticise it, and such a pre-eminent position does attract and even
require criticism - the trouble being most of that criticism to date has
been merely sectarian. It is quite possible to like and applaud the OTO
and still criticise it, indeed some of its members do just that.

The really clever trick will be a re-unification that does not threaten
diversity, but promotes and defends it.
