There's more to it that this, i think. Helena Blavatsky was exposed as a
frudulent medium and C. W. Leadbeater was a pederast who seduced or
tried to seduce little boys and was caught at it in Australia. Olcott
seems to have been sincere, but just a patsy for Blavatsky, and Annie
Besant supported Leadbeater's child molestation 100%.

And that's not even MENTIONING the bizarre "Liberal Catholic Church"
fooferaw (another hotbed of pederasty) and the way the Besant crew tried
to move in on Co-Freemasonry and pervert it to their "spiritual" ends,
even going so far as to declare it semi-official doctrine that Count
Saint Germain is alive (still!) and was seen at a Co-Masonic gathering
in 1935.
