NULatix!] flase: >> ...to break an oath, one has to actually give their word. >> Lorax is no warlock.... thanks, flase, that was very kind of you to defend me like that. :> I've only had occasional run-ins with initiators concerned that I might be breaking my oaths. they didn't bother me much, though I was sometimes surprised by the behaviour of the initiator! Dancerbunny: > He claims to be initiated into Wicca, that both of them are. wow, it was so kaotik I'm not sure if it was Wiccan. is there a standard? did it have to be part of a longstanding initiatic line, like Gardnerian Clutterbuck? > That involves taking an oath. hmm, my oath went like this I was a duck Now I'm a swan Feet of clay I play all day Until the sun is gone I kome to k@s kuvin' With a gluestick in my hand So patch me in And be my kin I think I understand > Judging solely on their actions, here online alone, > they have broken that oath. dunno about that. I mean, I had the gluestick right there. I don't remember anything about never revealing this oath, but this is the first time it's ever been revealed (for you). there WAS AN EGG broken immediately after my oath. maybe *that*'s what you're picking up, Dancerbunny. you've already proven yourself capable of tremendous and astounding sight (like when you predicted the commencement of my instruction, right here in ARW!). > Of course that doesn't account for Nagashiva's > tendency to change Traditions more often than > he changes clothes. damn! that's not very hard. I try to minimize the wash of uniform (black fatigues) and have worn the same pair of pants for the last 3 years or so. yeah, occasionally they get washed, and I have some work jeans for wear during those time, but I'm in uniform pretty much 24/7. CoE can be rough. so changing every 3 years? not sure I was ever really part of a tradition. I'm more a solitary where Wicca is concerned these days, not having exactly converted sri catyananda, really. she's Fluffy from way back, tho. ;> all the same, thanks for thinking of me, and blessed be! lorax666 of the Evul Wikkunz, Majestic Priest of Kaos Kuvin III' ================================================================ http://dmoz.org/Bookmarks/b/boboroshi ---------------------------------------------------------------- fluff bunny, fluff bunny, Paw Paw Paw! ======================================= "Well I drove down to Big D.C.
