Quite likely someone is trying to spin this out into a mythical farce about older, more secret societies in the background of Evola and the FS, much as two Llewellyn-funded hucksters did earlier with occult orders in Britain. Steps to occult fame and riches: 1. Identify a real secret society 2. Make up an older (and of course better!) secret society along similar (but of course better!) lines. 3. Hint that your made-up secret society is "still" around today. 4. Profit!!!! (and Prophet!!!)
