Hello, This is miss cat, the co-owner of Lucky Mojo and the writer of the Lucky Mojo web site. I am often asked if i take on clients, do readings for folks, teach classes, or cast spells for people. The answer is that i do readings -- by telephone and in person -- and i can set lights for you, through my church. I craft certain amulets and charms for clients, and i am available for private magical coaching and spell-craft tutoring by telephone at the same hourly rate that i charge for readings; however, at this time i cannot not take on extended spell-work for clients because i have devoted my time to teaching, ministering, writing, and running the Lucky Mojo Curio Company shop.
All of my
readings, whether by phone or in-person,
are conducted within
the sanctuary of
Missionary Independent Spiritual Church, "The World's Smallest Church,"
and 15% of your fee is donated by me to
the church to support its upkeep and its outreach services.
Do not be surprised if there is a bit of a waiting line.
Remember, you MUST call ahead and ask to schedule your
appointment.

It is my mission to empower people to do their own work, whether that be spell-craft, spiritual rites, magic, prayer, or any combination of the above. To this end i have written thousands of web pages, archived the writings of others, participated in a call-in hoodoo radio show, and written books on the subject of conjure. All of these resources are available to you, and many of them are free or very low in cost.

If you need the services of an old-fashioned Southern rootworker, we know some of the best. The readers and root doctors we recommend are not only professionals in their own right, they are also graduates of my one-year training course in hoodoo rootwork. I know them to be traditional hoodoo practitioners of good repute, and to be honest and truthful in their service to clients. The Association of Independent Readers and Rootworkers (AIRR) is a gathering of professional practitioners of African American folk magic, hoodoo, conjure, and rootwork who provide psychic readings and spiritual root doctoring services to the public. AIRR promotes quality service and ethical conduct by means of accreditation and evaluation of our members. Unlike commercial online psychic reader services, AIRR is a membership-supported organization that receives no fees or kickbacks for referrals.

The Lucky Mojo Hoodoo Rootwork Hour is a call-in show. Each week our professional practitioners discuss a different topic, and then the lines are opened up to callers from around the country -- and around the world. Your co-hosts, catherine yronwode and Dr. Christos Kioni will perform a live, on-air divination on the case and offer practical, traditional, old-style conjure and rootwork remedies and magical spells to address the condition.
Call in for advice and listen to archived shows for
a thorough grounding in the practical and
spiritual traditions of conjure.
