Prior to contacting us about
an item you want to return, please review the following
issues that may be specific about your request for a return:
a) The item was not of the quality advertised (fair condition vs. good condition) b) The item was of the quality advertised but had other substantive flaws unadvertised c) The item was not the specific item we advertised (1st edition, second printing vs. 1st edition, 1st printing) d) We made a mistake and sent you the wrong item e) The item was specific, but not exactly the item you believed you were obtaining f) You made a mistake and ordered the wrong item g) You have changed your mind and want a different item or no item at all |
Regarding Our Acceptance Of Returned Items:
It is our desire to continue what has hopefully been a pleasurable shopping experience for you. But at some point, someone, somewhere may have thought what they were buying is actually much different than the received goods. There is an assumption that when you purchase an item, you are already educated as to the type of article you are buying. In some instances, you rely wholeheartedly upon the illustration and description within the advertisement for the item to ensure that it is exactly what you want. In other cases, you become interested in the uniqueness of an item without a regard for the quality or true value it represents. When you buy and ultimately take possession of an article, you actually engage in a complicated transaction which is filled with numerous legal implications regarding these factors. Rather than expound on the lengthy aspects of just how complicated it can become, let simplicity reign! Please Consider: To contact us several weeks later and state you are unhappy with an item does not bode well. Your earliest convenience in contacting us will merit the expeditious review of your request for returning an item. We don't like buying things blindly on the words and representations of others, only to find something less than we wanted when it arrived at our door -- and neither would you. (a., b. ) If you find you are not happy with an item we have shipped to you, send us an email describing why. Honesty is THE BEST policy. We are fairly articulate at specifically describing the items we list for sale and include photographs almost always. If you have a valid reason for not concluding a sale or perhaps we made a misrepresentation on the authenticity of an item or its condition, WE WILL ACCEPT THE ITEM BACK WITHOUT RESERVATION, AS LONG AS YOU CONTACT US WITHOUT A GREAT DELAY. NO RETURNS AFTER 90 DAYS. (c.) WE'RE HAPPY TO TAKE BACK ANYTHING WHICH WAS MISREPRESENTED IN ANY WAY, and if such had been done, it certainly was not with a premeditated motive of deception. (d.) WE MAKE MISTAKES. The most important thing is for you to contact us and see what options are available as quickly as is possible. (e., f., g.) However, if YOU MADE A MISTAKE or YOU CHANGED YOUR MIND and want to return items, either for a refund or to replace mis-ordered items with other items, please be advised that WE CHARGE A 15% RESTOCKING FEE on returned goods which we sent in good faith because of your mistake or because you changed your mind. The returned items must be unopened and in saleable condition, or no refund or exchange can be made. If there is another reason not aforementioned that perhaps can be a solid argument for your reason for returning something, try us out. We value our ability to make a fair representation of items on the web and even more so, we value the confidence our customers have had in what we offered. |

Most shippers require an immediate notification as to damages, so when damage
is discovered:
1) please notify the respective shipper, 2) If you have a digital camera, please take a photo of the damaged goods and their packaging. 3) file a report to establish a claim of damages and, 4) be sure to make a record of the relevant information regarding the particular item including with whom you filed the claim with, INCLUDING respective claim information and procedures necessary for compensatory damages. |
Our Policy For Return Of Funds For Damaged Articles:
We will reimburse you for ALL funds related to damage of items which are sent to you, by the respective shipper or carrier of the items, provided you assist in documenting such damages without undue delay. If you have a digital camera, please take a photo of the damaged goods and their packaging and mail it, as soon as possible, to order@luckymojo.com so that we can advise you how best to proceed next. Damages: If the item was delivered to you insured and you find that the item(s) was (were) damaged in transit, you are expected to contact us either immediately via telephone, or via email so that we may begin to process the appropriate claim with the respective shipping agent. YOU MUST ALSO CONTACT THE CARRIER AND MAKE A CLAIM. Most carriers will only accept a claim made by the recipient, not by the shipper. If you have a digital camera, please take a photo of the damaged goods and their packaging. NOTE: We have a strict time limit for claims of damage and requests for replacement. If you receive broken or damaged goods but you do not contact us by email or telephone within 7 days of receipt of the damaged merchandise, we will not accept your request for replacement and we will not help you make an insurance claim with the shipper. |
|
We prefer to REPLACE items that are in stock and have
been damaged in shipping but in some cases we will
not be able to replace an item. We will
REIMBURSE you for damages in shipping,
provided that;
1) insurance for an item was agreed to be in place between the buyer and seller prior to the shipment of an item, 2) such fees were paid to the appropriate shipper for the item's insurance and said item was damaged or delivered in a condition which otherwise adversely affected the items' condition, and 3) our ability to make a reasonable effort to replace the identical item which was damaged does not appear to be possible. |
In most cases, proof of insurance will not be required because it was already recorded on the item when it shipped. If it is required to submit an insurance receipt, contact us concerning details for a buyer-initiated refund at your destination OR if we are issuing a refund for the goods for which a claim is filed, we will require that a claim number and related information are submitted in whole to us prior to the issuance of a refund. |
