Published in 1946 as "Terrors of the Evil Eye Exposed;" this is a facsimile reprint with great old-time ads. (The cover is a cut-and-collaged remake of the original cover-art.)

Henri Gamache is best known as the author of The Master Book of Candle Burning and The 8th, 9th, and 10th Books of Moses. In this 96-page volume he collected evil eye folklore from around the world, including African, European, Indian, South American, and Caribbean beliefs, apotropaic charms, and formulas for magical protection.

Like Henri Gamache's other works, "Terrors of the Evil Eye Exposed" was packaged for sale to hoodoo practitioners in the African-American community. I am not sure when the title was changed, but the reason may have been to widen the prospective audience, since the evil eye is a primarily Middle-Eastern, North African, and European concept, whereas "Evil" is a worldwide phenomemon.
