The ROSE is a sacred and symbolic flower all around in the wold. Among the more than 200 species of ROSE, the classical Rosa Damascena and the delicate China Tea Rose are perhaps the best known types, well loved by perfumers for their delightful fragrance and by gardeners for the sensual richness of their floral displays. ROSE WATER has long been used to flavour delicate foods, especially sweetmeats intended to be given to oneีs lover. Additionally, because ROSE scent is so sensually stimulating, women bathe with ROSE WATER to draw men close, and witches set it out in altar bowls to honour Venus Aphrodite, the ancient Goddess of Love and Desire.
-- The Lucky Mojo Curio Co. catalogue
Rose Water is one of the most old-fashioned over-the-counter headache remedies that is still available in the USA. It is aso popular in Middle Eastern cooking. In addition, it may be added to the water used for rituals of bathing, especially in conjunction with love spells.
Because of the association of the Rose Blossom wih sexuality, Rose Water makes a fine libation to pour if one is celebrating a sexual union.
4 Fluid Ounces. Sold as a Curio only.
